EXPLORING MUSICAL INTERSECTIONS
The Pano Hora Ensemble explores musical intersections, most obviously those that occur when Greek musical ideas are featured within a classical ensemble.
Greek music, since Homer, generally has been connected to narrative — irresistible stories of passion, grief, human nature, and its foibles, and the unique suffering brought by familial conflict.
Pano Hora seeks to bring to life Greek music by Charles Calomiris and others so that our audience can resonate with and reflect on all of human emotions and experiences. Stay in touch with us by subscribing to the newsletter.
